   My first Lattafa Perfumes experience was this one, Safeer. The base rests on Gaiac wood and Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Right away I get mostly Grapefruit alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

The very first sniff is crisp Grapefruit with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   Everyone keeps talking about Safeer, so I finally gave it a proper test. Give it a little time and Caramel with Jasmine comes forward — smooth and well done. As it settles, Gaiac wood and Musk come through and give it real depth. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   I have owned Safeer for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. As it settles, Gaiac wood and Musk come through and give it real depth. The heart is the best part for me: Caramel and Jasmine feel carefully balanced. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   A couple of wears in, Safeer has really grown on me. The opening is built around Grapefruit and Bergamot — bright and immediately recognizable. That first spray gives a lovely Grapefruit/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.
