   I’ve been wearing Rose 31 on and off for a few weeks now (2006). The drydown leans on Musk plus Guaiac Wood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The heart is the best part for me: Rose and Vetiver feel carefully balanced. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   A decant of Rose 31 sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. As it settles, Musk and Guaiac Wood come through and give it real depth. The base rests on Musk and Guaiac Wood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   I keep reaching for Rose 31 more than I expected to. Right away I get mostly Rose alongside Cumin, fresh and very easy to wear. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   I have owned Rose 31 for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. Give it a little time and Rose with Vetiver comes forward — smooth and well done. The heart is the best part for me: Rose and Vetiver feel carefully balanced. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

   Everyone keeps talking about Rose 31, so I finally gave it a proper test. The very first sniff is crisp Rose with Cumin peeking through, very much my kind of start. The first minutes are all about Rose with a hint of Cumin — it grabs attention without being pushy. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

Give it a little time and Rose with Vetiver comes forward — smooth and well done. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
