   Everyone keeps talking about Agua de Loewe El, so I finally gave it a proper test. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Granny Smith apple with Pineapple, which is where the fragrance really shines. The first minutes are all about Water Notes with a hint of Yuzu — it grabs attention without being pushy. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   My first Loewe experience was this one, Agua de Loewe El (2009). The heart is the best part for me: Granny Smith apple and Pineapple feel carefully balanced. The base rests on Musk and Virginia Cedar — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   For a 2009 release, Agua de Loewe El deserves more attention than it gets. That first spray gives a lovely Water Notes/Yuzu impression that dries down smoothly. The first minutes are all about Water Notes with a hint of Yuzu — it grabs attention without being pushy. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   My first Loewe experience was this one, Agua de Loewe El (2009). The heart is the best part for me: Granny Smith apple and Pineapple feel carefully balanced. The drydown leans on Musk plus Virginia Cedar and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.
