   I keep reaching for Aura more than I expected to. That first spray gives a lovely Pink Pepper/Red Currant impression that dries down smoothly. The heart is the best part for me: Rose and Iris feel carefully balanced. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   Everyone keeps talking about Aura, so I finally gave it a proper test. The drydown leans on Sandalwood plus Leather and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The first minutes are all about Pink Pepper with a hint of Red Currant — it grabs attention without being pushy. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   A friend passed me a decant of Aura (2013) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The drydown leans on Sandalwood plus Leather and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. As it settles, Sandalwood and Leather come through and give it real depth. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   Loewe knows how to compose, and Aura (2013) is proof. The base rests on Sandalwood and Leather — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The opening is built around Pink Pepper and Red Currant — bright and immediately recognizable. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

The base rests on Sandalwood and Leather — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Aura. The very first sniff is crisp Pink Pepper with Red Currant peeking through, very much my kind of start. The base rests on Sandalwood and Leather — warm, grounded and easy to live with. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   I’ve been wearing Aura on and off for a few weeks now (2013). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Rose with Iris, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Rose and Iris feel carefully balanced. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.
