   A decant of Solo Loewe Cedro sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The opening is built around Mandarin Orange and Pink Pepper — bright and immediately recognizable. That first spray gives a lovely Mandarin Orange/Pink Pepper impression that dries down smoothly. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

   Loewe knows how to compose, and Solo Loewe Cedro (2015) is proof. Give it a little time and Nutmeg with Lavender comes forward — smooth and well done. The drydown leans on Cedar plus Benzoin and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

   My first Loewe experience was this one, Solo Loewe Cedro (2015). That first spray gives a lovely Mandarin Orange/Pink Pepper impression that dries down smoothly. The first minutes are all about Mandarin Orange with a hint of Pink Pepper — it grabs attention without being pushy. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   My first Loewe experience was this one, Solo Loewe Cedro (2015). Right away I get mostly Mandarin Orange alongside Pink Pepper, fresh and very easy to wear. The heart is the best part for me: Nutmeg and Lavender feel carefully balanced. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.
