   I have owned Delilah for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The first minutes are all about Rhubarb with a hint of Litchi — it grabs attention without being pushy. The heart is the best part for me: Turkish Rose and Peony feel carefully balanced. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. The composition is well made but not for me.

   A decant of Delilah sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. That first spray gives a lovely Rhubarb/Litchi impression that dries down smoothly. As it settles, White Musk and Cashmeran come through and give it real depth. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   A couple of wears in, Delilah has really grown on me. The first minutes are all about Rhubarb with a hint of Litchi — it grabs attention without being pushy. That first spray gives a lovely Rhubarb/Litchi impression that dries down smoothly. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   A friend passed me a decant of Delilah (2023) and I wasn’t prepared for it. Give it a little time and Turkish Rose with Peony comes forward — smooth and well done. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Turkish Rose with Peony, which is where the fragrance really shines. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

   Everyone keeps talking about Delilah, so I finally gave it a proper test. The drydown leans on White Musk plus Cashmeran and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Right away I get mostly Rhubarb alongside Litchi, fresh and very easy to wear. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

The base rests on White Musk and Cashmeran — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.
