   Maison Crivelli knows how to compose, and Oud Stallion (2023) is proof. The drydown leans on Agarwood (Oud) plus Leather and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The opening is built around Saffron and Cardamom — bright and immediately recognizable. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   I picked up Oud Stallion (2023) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The base rests on Agarwood (Oud) and Leather — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The drydown leans on Agarwood (Oud) plus Leather and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   A couple of wears in, Oud Stallion has really grown on me. The base rests on Agarwood (Oud) and Leather — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The drydown leans on Agarwood (Oud) plus Leather and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   I have owned Oud Stallion for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The first minutes are all about Saffron with a hint of Cardamom — it grabs attention without being pushy. As it settles, Agarwood (Oud) and Leather come through and give it real depth. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Oud Stallion. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Jasmine with Osmanthus, which is where the fragrance really shines. The first minutes are all about Saffron with a hint of Cardamom — it grabs attention without being pushy. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

As it settles, Agarwood (Oud) and Leather come through and give it real depth. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   Picked up a sample of Oud Stallion after reading the community buzz (2023). Right away I get mostly Saffron alongside Cardamom, fresh and very easy to wear. Give it a little time and Jasmine with Osmanthus comes forward — smooth and well done. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Jasmine with Osmanthus, which is where the fragrance really shines. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.
