   A couple of wears in, Heaven has really grown on me. As it settles, Chinese black tea and Ambroxan come through and give it real depth. The base rests on Chinese black tea and Ambroxan — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I keep reaching for Heaven more than I expected to. The base rests on Chinese black tea and Ambroxan — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The heart is the best part for me: Tunisian Neroli and Nigerian Ginger feel carefully balanced. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   A friend passed me a decant of Heaven (2021) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The opening is built around Citron and Calabrian bergamot — bright and immediately recognizable. The first minutes are all about Citron with a hint of Calabrian bergamot — it grabs attention without being pushy. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   Maison Viegas knows how to compose, and Heaven (2021) is proof. That first spray gives a lovely Citron/Calabrian bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown leans on Chinese black tea plus Ambroxan and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

The very first sniff is crisp Citron with Calabrian bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Heaven. Give it a little time and Tunisian Neroli with Nigerian Ginger comes forward — smooth and well done. The base rests on Chinese black tea and Ambroxan — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.
