   A couple of wears in, Aoud Lemon Mint has really grown on me. The drydown leans on Vanilla plus White Musk and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. As it settles, Vanilla and White Musk come through and give it real depth. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   I keep reaching for Aoud Lemon Mint more than I expected to. The base rests on Vanilla and White Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Agarwood (Oud) with Patchouli, which is where the fragrance really shines. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

Right away I get mostly Lemon alongside Almond, fresh and very easy to wear. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

The first minutes are all about Lemon with a hint of Almond — it grabs attention without being pushy. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

   Mancera knows how to compose, and Aoud Lemon Mint (2016) is proof. The heart is the best part for me: Agarwood (Oud) and Patchouli feel carefully balanced.
