   Mancera knows how to compose, and Fig Extasy (2021) is proof. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Fig Leaf with Leather, which is where the fragrance really shines. As it settles, Vanilla Pod and Siam Benzoin come through and give it real depth. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   A couple of wears in, Fig Extasy has really grown on me. The base rests on Vanilla Pod and Siam Benzoin — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The first minutes are all about Fig Nectar with a hint of Incense — it grabs attention without being pushy. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

The opening is built around Fig Nectar and Incense — bright and immediately recognizable. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I’ve been wearing Fig Extasy on and off for a few weeks now (2021). Give it a little time and Fig Leaf with Leather comes forward — smooth and well done. The heart is the best part for me: Fig Leaf and Leather feel carefully balanced. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.
