   Mancera knows how to compose, and Pearl (2016) is proof. That first spray gives a lovely Fig/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown leans on White Musk plus Ambergris and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   I’ve been wearing Pearl on and off for a few weeks now (2016). Give it a little time and Rose with Egyptian Jasmine comes forward — smooth and well done. That first spray gives a lovely Fig/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   Everyone keeps talking about Pearl, so I finally gave it a proper test. The heart is the best part for me: Rose and Egyptian Jasmine feel carefully balanced. That first spray gives a lovely Fig/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

The heart is the best part for me: Rose and Egyptian Jasmine feel carefully balanced. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   For a 2016 release, Pearl deserves more attention than it gets. The very first sniff is crisp Fig with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. As it settles, White Musk and Ambergris come through and give it real depth. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.
