   Picked up a sample of Sicily after reading the community buzz (2016). As it settles, White Musk and Woody Notes come through and give it real depth. The heart is the best part for me: Jasmine and Ylang-Ylang feel carefully balanced. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

   For a 2016 release, Sicily deserves more attention than it gets. The drydown leans on White Musk plus Woody Notes and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Give it a little time and Jasmine with Ylang-Ylang comes forward — smooth and well done. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   I have owned Sicily for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Jasmine with Ylang-Ylang, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Jasmine and Ylang-Ylang feel carefully balanced. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I keep reaching for Sicily more than I expected to. The very first sniff is crisp Mandarin Orange with Grapefruit peeking through, very much my kind of start. Right away I get mostly Mandarin Orange alongside Grapefruit, fresh and very easy to wear. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

The opening is built around Mandarin Orange and Grapefruit — bright and immediately recognizable. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.
