   For a 2019 release, Silver Blue deserves more attention than it gets. The opening is built around Spices and Bergamot — bright and immediately recognizable. The base rests on Amber and Precious Woods — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   I picked up Silver Blue (2019) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The heart is the best part for me: Caramel and Amber feel carefully balanced. As it settles, Amber and Precious Woods come through and give it real depth. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   Mancera knows how to compose, and Silver Blue (2019) is proof. The drydown leans on Amber plus Precious Woods and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. That first spray gives a lovely Spices/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   A friend passed me a decant of Silver Blue (2019) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The heart is the best part for me: Caramel and Amber feel carefully balanced. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Caramel with Amber, which is where the fragrance really shines. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.
