   Marc-Antoine Barrois knows how to compose, and B683 Extrait (2020) is proof. Give it a little time and Safraleine with Green Apple comes forward — smooth and well done. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Safraleine with Green Apple, which is where the fragrance really shines. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   My first Marc-Antoine Barrois experience was this one, B683 Extrait (2020). The heart is the best part for me: Safraleine and Green Apple feel carefully balanced. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Safraleine with Green Apple, which is where the fragrance really shines. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. I wanted to like it more than I did.

Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Safraleine with Green Apple, which is where the fragrance really shines. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. I would happily buy a full bottle.

A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
