   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Decadence. The very first sniff is crisp Plum with Saffron peeking through, very much my kind of start. The opening is built around Plum and Saffron — bright and immediately recognizable. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Decadence. The base rests on Vetiver and Papyrus — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The drydown leans on Vetiver plus Papyrus and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   Everyone keeps talking about Decadence, so I finally gave it a proper test. The heart is the best part for me: Orris and Jasmine Sambac feel carefully balanced. The very first sniff is crisp Plum with Saffron peeking through, very much my kind of start. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. The composition is well made but not for me.

   For a 2015 release, Decadence deserves more attention than it gets. As it settles, Vetiver and Papyrus come through and give it real depth. The drydown leans on Vetiver plus Papyrus and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   Everyone keeps talking about Decadence, so I finally gave it a proper test. Give it a little time and Orris with Jasmine Sambac comes forward — smooth and well done. That first spray gives a lovely Plum/Saffron impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.
