   I have owned Dot for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. Give it a little time and Coconut with Jasmine comes forward — smooth and well done. As it settles, Driftwood and Musk come through and give it real depth. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   I have owned Dot for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The heart is the best part for me: Coconut and Jasmine feel carefully balanced. Right away I get mostly Red Berries alongside Pitahaya, fresh and very easy to wear. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   My first Marc Jacobs experience was this one, Dot (2012). That first spray gives a lovely Red Berries/Pitahaya impression that dries down smoothly. As it settles, Driftwood and Musk come through and give it real depth. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   My first Marc Jacobs experience was this one, Dot (2012). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Coconut with Jasmine, which is where the fragrance really shines. As it settles, Driftwood and Musk come through and give it real depth. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I keep reaching for Dot more than I expected to. The opening is built around Red Berries and Pitahaya — bright and immediately recognizable. That first spray gives a lovely Red Berries/Pitahaya impression that dries down smoothly. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

The base rests on Driftwood and Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.
