   Mariah Carey knows how to compose, and M (2007) is proof. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Tiare Flower with Gardenia, which is where the fragrance really shines. That first spray gives a lovely Marshmallow/Sea water impression that dries down smoothly. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about M. As it settles, Incense and Amber come through and give it real depth. That first spray gives a lovely Marshmallow/Sea water impression that dries down smoothly. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   My first Mariah Carey experience was this one, M (2007). The very first sniff is crisp Marshmallow with Sea water peeking through, very much my kind of start. Right away I get mostly Marshmallow alongside Sea water, fresh and very easy to wear. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   I picked up M (2007) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Give it a little time and Tiare Flower with Gardenia comes forward — smooth and well done. As it settles, Incense and Amber come through and give it real depth. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I would happily buy a full bottle.

The opening is built around Marshmallow and Sea water — bright and immediately recognizable. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

The opening is built around Marshmallow and Sea water — bright and immediately recognizable. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   I’ve been wearing M on and off for a few weeks now (2007). The base rests on Incense and Amber — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The first minutes are all about Marshmallow with a hint of Sea water — it grabs attention without being pushy. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
