   A friend passed me a decant of Star (2023) and I wasn’t prepared for it. Right away I get mostly Pineapple alongside Fig, fresh and very easy to wear. The drydown leans on Vanilla plus Tonka Bean and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   A couple of wears in, Star has really grown on me. The drydown leans on Vanilla plus Tonka Bean and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Give it a little time and Coconut Milk with Iris comes forward — smooth and well done. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   I’ve been wearing Star on and off for a few weeks now (2023). That first spray gives a lovely Pineapple/Fig impression that dries down smoothly. The base rests on Vanilla and Tonka Bean — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Star. The very first sniff is crisp Pineapple with Fig peeking through, very much my kind of start. Give it a little time and Coconut Milk with Iris comes forward — smooth and well done. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

   For a 2023 release, Star deserves more attention than it gets. The drydown leans on Vanilla plus Tonka Bean and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The first minutes are all about Pineapple with a hint of Fig — it grabs attention without being pushy. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   Everyone keeps talking about Star, so I finally gave it a proper test. The base rests on Vanilla and Tonka Bean — warm, grounded and easy to live with. As it settles, Vanilla and Tonka Bean come through and give it real depth. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.
