   Picked up a sample of Le Parfum after reading the community buzz (2008). The opening is built around Pink Pepper and Nutmeg — bright and immediately recognizable. As it settles, Musk and Lime (Linden) Blossom come through and give it real depth. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I’ve been wearing Le Parfum on and off for a few weeks now (2008). The base rests on Musk and Lime (Linden) Blossom — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The drydown leans on Musk plus Lime (Linden) Blossom and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Le Parfum. That first spray gives a lovely Pink Pepper/Nutmeg impression that dries down smoothly. The base rests on Musk and Lime (Linden) Blossom — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I would happily buy a full bottle.

Give it a little time and Freesia with Gardenia comes forward — smooth and well done. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   I have owned Le Parfum for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The first minutes are all about Pink Pepper with a hint of Nutmeg — it grabs attention without being pushy. The very first sniff is crisp Pink Pepper with Nutmeg peeking through, very much my kind of start. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   For a 2008 release, Le Parfum deserves more attention than it gets. The heart is the best part for me: Freesia and Gardenia feel carefully balanced. The first minutes are all about Pink Pepper with a hint of Nutmeg — it grabs attention without being pushy. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.
