   A couple of wears in, Max Mara Silk Touch has really grown on me. The heart is the best part for me: Silkwood Blossom and Jasmine feel carefully balanced. Give it a little time and Silkwood Blossom with Jasmine comes forward — smooth and well done. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   I keep reaching for Max Mara Silk Touch more than I expected to. The opening is built around Barberry and Cherry Blossom — bright and immediately recognizable. The first minutes are all about Barberry with a hint of Cherry Blossom — it grabs attention without being pushy. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   I picked up Max Mara Silk Touch (2007) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The heart is the best part for me: Silkwood Blossom and Jasmine feel carefully balanced. That first spray gives a lovely Barberry/Cherry Blossom impression that dries down smoothly. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   Everyone keeps talking about Max Mara Silk Touch, so I finally gave it a proper test. Right away I get mostly Barberry alongside Cherry Blossom, fresh and very easy to wear. As it settles, Musk and Cedar come through and give it real depth. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   A decant of Max Mara Silk Touch sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. That first spray gives a lovely Barberry/Cherry Blossom impression that dries down smoothly. The base rests on Musk and Cedar — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I would happily buy a full bottle.
