   I have owned French Leather for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The drydown leans on Suede plus Cedarwood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The opening is built around Lime and Pink Pepper — bright and immediately recognizable. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   My first Memo Paris experience was this one, French Leather (2014). The base rests on Suede and Cedarwood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. As it settles, Suede and Cedarwood come through and give it real depth. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

The base rests on Suede and Cedarwood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

The drydown leans on Suede plus Cedarwood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   A couple of wears in, French Leather has really grown on me. The very first sniff is crisp Lime with Pink Pepper peeking through, very much my kind of start. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Rose with Clary Sage, which is where the fragrance really shines. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.
