   My first Memo Paris experience was this one, Marfa (2016). As it settles, Vanilla Bean and Musk come through and give it real depth. The base rests on Vanilla Bean and Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   My first Memo Paris experience was this one, Marfa (2016). The drydown leans on Vanilla Bean plus Musk and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The base rests on Vanilla Bean and Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   Everyone keeps talking about Marfa, so I finally gave it a proper test. The first minutes are all about Peach with a hint of Mandarin — it grabs attention without being pushy. The base rests on Vanilla Bean and Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Marfa. That first spray gives a lovely Peach/Mandarin impression that dries down smoothly. Right away I get mostly Peach alongside Mandarin, fresh and very easy to wear. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   Picked up a sample of Marfa after reading the community buzz (2016). The base rests on Vanilla Bean and Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The heart is the best part for me: Tuberose and Ylang-Ylang feel carefully balanced. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I have owned Marfa for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The opening is built around Peach and Mandarin — bright and immediately recognizable. The first minutes are all about Peach with a hint of Mandarin — it grabs attention without being pushy. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Tuberose with Ylang-Ylang, which is where the fragrance really shines. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
