   A couple of wears in, Fly High Woman has really grown on me. Give it a little time and Lilac with May Rose comes forward — smooth and well done. The base rests on White Musk and Cedar — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   A friend passed me a decant of Fly High Woman (2007) and I wasn’t prepared for it. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Lilac with May Rose, which is where the fragrance really shines. The very first sniff is crisp Watermelon with Red Currant peeking through, very much my kind of start. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   My first Mexx experience was this one, Fly High Woman (2007). The first minutes are all about Watermelon with a hint of Red Currant — it grabs attention without being pushy. The opening is built around Watermelon and Red Currant — bright and immediately recognizable. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
