   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Michael. The opening is built around Freesia and Chinese Osmanthus — bright and immediately recognizable. As it settles, Musk and Cashmere Wood come through and give it real depth. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

The opening is built around Freesia and Chinese Osmanthus — bright and immediately recognizable. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   Everyone keeps talking about Michael, so I finally gave it a proper test. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Tuberose with Arum Lily, which is where the fragrance really shines. That first spray gives a lovely Freesia/Chinese Osmanthus impression that dries down smoothly. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

The first minutes are all about Freesia with a hint of Chinese Osmanthus — it grabs attention without being pushy. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

    Picked up a sample of Michael after reading the community buzz (2000). As it settles, Musk and Cashmere Wood come through and give it real depth. Right away I get mostly Freesia alongside Chinese Osmanthus, fresh and very easy to wear. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.
