   I keep reaching for Michael for Men more than I expected to. The drydown leans on Dried Fruits plus Plum and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Right away I get mostly Star Anise alongside Fir Resin, fresh and very easy to wear. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   My first Michael Kors experience was this one, Michael for Men (2001). The base rests on Dried Fruits and Plum — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The first minutes are all about Star Anise with a hint of Fir Resin — it grabs attention without being pushy. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I’ve been wearing Michael for Men on and off for a few weeks now (2001). That first spray gives a lovely Star Anise/Fir Resin impression that dries down smoothly. The first minutes are all about Star Anise with a hint of Fir Resin — it grabs attention without being pushy. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Michael for Men. The very first sniff is crisp Star Anise with Fir Resin peeking through, very much my kind of start. The first minutes are all about Star Anise with a hint of Fir Resin — it grabs attention without being pushy. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.
