   I picked up Cloud Musk (2021) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Cotton Flower with Iris, which is where the fragrance really shines. Give it a little time and Cotton Flower with Iris comes forward — smooth and well done. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

   My first Mix:Bar experience was this one, Cloud Musk (2021). The drydown leans on Woodsy Notes plus Tonka Bean and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The heart is the best part for me: Cotton Flower and Iris feel carefully balanced. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   I’ve been wearing Cloud Musk on and off for a few weeks now (2021). The very first sniff is crisp Cardamom with Cypress peeking through, very much my kind of start. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Cotton Flower with Iris, which is where the fragrance really shines. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

The opening is built around Cardamom and Cypress — bright and immediately recognizable. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

The drydown leans on Woodsy Notes plus Tonka Bean and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
