   I picked up Osmanthus (2021) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Give it a little time and Osmanthus with Tuberose comes forward — smooth and well done. Right away I get mostly Mandarin Orange alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   A friend passed me a decant of Osmanthus (2021) and I wasn’t prepared for it. Right away I get mostly Mandarin Orange alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. The first minutes are all about Mandarin Orange with a hint of Bergamot — it grabs attention without being pushy. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   A couple of wears in, Osmanthus has really grown on me. That first spray gives a lovely Mandarin Orange/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. The base rests on Apricot and White Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

That first spray gives a lovely Mandarin Orange/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Osmanthus with Tuberose, which is where the fragrance really shines. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.
