   I picked up Black Aoud (2006) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The heart is the best part for me: Rose and Agarwood (Oud) feel carefully balanced. Give it a little time and Rose with Agarwood (Oud) comes forward — smooth and well done. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   I’ve been wearing Black Aoud on and off for a few weeks now (2006). Give it a little time and Rose with Agarwood (Oud) comes forward — smooth and well done. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Rose with Agarwood (Oud), which is where the fragrance really shines. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. The composition is well made but not for me.

A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.
