   I have owned Dark Vanilla for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. Right away I get mostly Spices, fresh and very easy to wear. The very first sniff is crisp Spices, very much my kind of start. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I picked up Dark Vanilla (2020) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The base rests on Vanilla and Amber — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Give it a little time and Leather with Cambodian oud comes forward — smooth and well done. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   I have owned Dark Vanilla for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. That first spray gives a lovely Spices impression that dries down smoothly. Right away I get mostly Spices, fresh and very easy to wear. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   For a 2020 release, Dark Vanilla deserves more attention than it gets. The very first sniff is crisp Spices, very much my kind of start. That first spray gives a lovely Spices impression that dries down smoothly. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I wanted to like it more than I did.
