   A friend passed me a decant of Intense Cafe (2013) and I wasn’t prepared for it. Right away I get mostly Floral Notes, fresh and very easy to wear. That first spray gives a lovely Floral Notes impression that dries down smoothly. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   Everyone keeps talking about Intense Cafe, so I finally gave it a proper test. As it settles, Vanila and White Musk come through and give it real depth. Right away I get mostly Floral Notes, fresh and very easy to wear. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

The base rests on Vanila and White Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.
