   Picked up a sample of Wild Pears after reading the community buzz (2011). The base rests on Musk and Vanille — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The first minutes are all about Pear with a hint of Bergamot — it grabs attention without being pushy. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

The drydown leans on Musk plus Vanille and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

I wanted to like it more than I did.
