   Everyone keeps talking about Legend Eau de Parfum, so I finally gave it a proper test. As it settles, Oakmoss and Leather come through and give it real depth. The base rests on Oakmoss and Leather — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   A friend passed me a decant of Legend Eau de Parfum (2020) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The very first sniff is crisp Violet Leaves with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. That first spray gives a lovely Violet Leaves/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

The base rests on Oakmoss and Leather — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   I keep reaching for Legend Eau de Parfum more than I expected to. Right away I get mostly Violet Leaves alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. The first minutes are all about Violet Leaves with a hint of Bergamot — it grabs attention without being pushy. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   Montblanc knows how to compose, and Legend Eau de Parfum (2020) is proof. The heart is the best part for me: Woodsy Notes and Jasmine feel carefully balanced. The drydown leans on Oakmoss plus Leather and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I would happily buy a full bottle.

    My first Montblanc experience was this one, Legend Eau de Parfum (2020). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Woodsy Notes with Jasmine, which is where the fragrance really shines. Give it a little time and Woodsy Notes with Jasmine comes forward — smooth and well done. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.
