   I’ve been wearing Cheap & Chic on and off for a few weeks now (1995). The drydown leans on Musk plus Ambergris and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. As it settles, Musk and Ambergris come through and give it real depth. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   Moschino knows how to compose, and Cheap & Chic (1995) is proof. The base rests on Musk and Ambergris — warm, grounded and easy to live with. As it settles, Musk and Ambergris come through and give it real depth. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   My first Moschino experience was this one, Cheap & Chic (1995). That first spray gives a lovely Yuzu/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. As it settles, Musk and Ambergris come through and give it real depth. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   My first Moschino experience was this one, Cheap & Chic (1995). Right away I get mostly Yuzu alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. The opening is built around Yuzu and Bergamot — bright and immediately recognizable. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   For a 1995 release, Cheap & Chic deserves more attention than it gets. Right away I get mostly Yuzu alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. The first minutes are all about Yuzu with a hint of Bergamot — it grabs attention without being pushy. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   I keep reaching for Cheap & Chic more than I expected to. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Cyclamen with Water Lily, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Cyclamen and Water Lily feel carefully balanced. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

The heart is the best part for me: Cyclamen and Water Lily feel carefully balanced. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I picked up Cheap & Chic (1995) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The very first sniff is crisp Yuzu with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. Right away I get mostly Yuzu alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.
