   I picked up Toy Boy (2019) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Give it a little time and Rose with Clove comes forward — smooth and well done. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Rose with Clove, which is where the fragrance really shines. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   Moschino knows how to compose, and Toy Boy (2019) is proof. The very first sniff is crisp Pink Pepper with Pear peeking through, very much my kind of start. The opening is built around Pink Pepper and Pear — bright and immediately recognizable. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

The heart is the best part for me: Rose and Clove feel carefully balanced. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

The drydown leans on Haitian Vetiver plus Cashmeran and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.
