   Natura knows how to compose, and Humor 5 (2009) is proof. Right away I get mostly Cherry alongside Raspberry, fresh and very easy to wear. The drydown leans on Vanilla plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   A decant of Humor 5 sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The drydown leans on Vanilla plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Right away I get mostly Cherry alongside Raspberry, fresh and very easy to wear. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   A friend passed me a decant of Humor 5 (2009) and I wasn’t prepared for it. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Jasmine with Heliotrope, which is where the fragrance really shines. Right away I get mostly Cherry alongside Raspberry, fresh and very easy to wear. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

The drydown leans on Vanilla plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

The very first sniff is crisp Cherry with Raspberry peeking through, very much my kind of start. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

As it settles, Vanilla and Amber come through and give it real depth. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

    I picked up Humor 5 (2009) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Give it a little time and Jasmine with Heliotrope comes forward — smooth and well done. That first spray gives a lovely Cherry/Raspberry impression that dries down smoothly. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
