For a 2017 release, Karagoz deserves more attention than it gets. The drydown leans on Vetiver plus Agarwood (Oud) and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The very first sniff is crisp Grapes with Pineapple peeking through, very much my kind of start. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

For a 2017 release, Karagoz deserves more attention than it gets. Give it a little time and Neroli with Patchouli comes forward β€” smooth and well done. The very first sniff is crisp Grapes with Pineapple peeking through, very much my kind of start. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I would happily buy a full bottle.

For a 2017 release, Karagoz deserves more attention than it gets. As it settles, Vetiver and Agarwood (Oud) come through and give it real depth. The very first sniff is crisp Grapes with Pineapple peeking through, very much my kind of start. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Well done β€” recommended if the notes appeal to you.

Nishane knows how to compose, and Karagoz (2017) is proof. The very first sniff is crisp Grapes with Pineapple peeking through, very much my kind of start. As it settles, Vetiver and Agarwood (Oud) come through and give it real depth. Two sprays are enough β€” it carries well without shouting. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

My first Nishane experience was this one, Karagoz (2017). The base rests on Vetiver and Agarwood (Oud) β€” warm, grounded and easy to live with. That first spray gives a lovely Grapes/Pineapple impression that dries down smoothly. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

A couple of wears in, Karagoz has really grown on me. As it settles, Vetiver and Agarwood (Oud) come through and give it real depth. The opening is built around Grapes and Pineapple β€” bright and immediately recognizable. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. This one gets my highest praise β€” beautiful from start to finish.

Everyone keeps talking about Karagoz, so I finally gave it a proper test. Right away I get mostly Grapes alongside Pineapple, fresh and very easy to wear. That first spray gives a lovely Grapes/Pineapple impression that dries down smoothly. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I would happily buy a full bottle.

I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Karagoz. The first minutes are all about Grapes with a hint of Pineapple β€” it grabs attention without being pushy. The very first sniff is crisp Grapes with Pineapple peeking through, very much my kind of start. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

For a 2017 release, Karagoz deserves more attention than it gets. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Neroli with Patchouli, which is where the fragrance really shines. Give it a little time and Neroli with Patchouli comes forward β€” smooth and well done. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.
