   For a 2022 release, Tero deserves more attention than it gets. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Patchouli with Cinnamon, which is where the fragrance really shines. The base rests on Amber and Oak — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   I keep reaching for Tero more than I expected to. The very first sniff is crisp Caramel with Sichuan Pepper peeking through, very much my kind of start. Right away I get mostly Caramel alongside Sichuan Pepper, fresh and very easy to wear. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Tero. That first spray gives a lovely Caramel/Sichuan Pepper impression that dries down smoothly. The first minutes are all about Caramel with a hint of Sichuan Pepper — it grabs attention without being pushy. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   My first Nishane experience was this one, Tero (2022). The opening is built around Caramel and Sichuan Pepper — bright and immediately recognizable. That first spray gives a lovely Caramel/Sichuan Pepper impression that dries down smoothly. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I’ve been wearing Tero on and off for a few weeks now (2022). The first minutes are all about Caramel with a hint of Sichuan Pepper — it grabs attention without being pushy. The drydown leans on Amber plus Oak and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   I have owned Tero for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. Give it a little time and Patchouli with Cinnamon comes forward — smooth and well done. Right away I get mostly Caramel alongside Sichuan Pepper, fresh and very easy to wear. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.
