   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Café Chantant. Right away I get mostly Sour Cherry alongside Laurels, fresh and very easy to wear. The first minutes are all about Sour Cherry with a hint of Laurels — it grabs attention without being pushy. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   Everyone keeps talking about Café Chantant, so I finally gave it a proper test. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Heliotrope with Iris, which is where the fragrance really shines. The first minutes are all about Sour Cherry with a hint of Laurels — it grabs attention without being pushy. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I would happily buy a full bottle.
