   A decant of Clash sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. Give it a little time and Lavender with Aromatic Notes comes forward — smooth and well done. As it settles, Coumarin and Amber come through and give it real depth. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   Everyone keeps talking about Clash, so I finally gave it a proper test. Right away I get mostly Carambola (Star Fruit) alongside Marine notes, fresh and very easy to wear. The base rests on Coumarin and Amber — warm, grounded and easy to live with. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   A couple of wears in, Clash has really grown on me. That first spray gives a lovely Carambola (Star Fruit)/Marine notes impression that dries down smoothly. The opening is built around Carambola (Star Fruit) and Marine notes — bright and immediately recognizable. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. I would happily buy a full bottle.

The drydown leans on Coumarin plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

   O Boticário knows how to compose, and Clash (2025) is proof. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Lavender with Aromatic Notes, which is where the fragrance really shines. The drydown leans on Coumarin plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   I picked up Clash (2025) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The drydown leans on Coumarin plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The very first sniff is crisp Carambola (Star Fruit) with Marine notes peeking through, very much my kind of start. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I wanted to like it more than I did.
