   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Her Code. That first spray gives a lovely Red Wine/Cherry impression that dries down smoothly. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Liquor with Tuberose, which is where the fragrance really shines. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   A friend passed me a decant of Her Code (2023) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The heart is the best part for me: Liquor and Tuberose feel carefully balanced. The very first sniff is crisp Red Wine with Cherry peeking through, very much my kind of start. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   O Boticário knows how to compose, and Her Code (2023) is proof. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Liquor with Tuberose, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Liquor and Tuberose feel carefully balanced. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   A couple of wears in, Her Code has really grown on me. The base rests on Sandal and Gourmand Accord — warm, grounded and easy to live with. As it settles, Sandal and Gourmand Accord come through and give it real depth. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   I’ve been wearing Her Code on and off for a few weeks now (2023). That first spray gives a lovely Red Wine/Cherry impression that dries down smoothly. The first minutes are all about Red Wine with a hint of Cherry — it grabs attention without being pushy. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
