   Everyone keeps talking about Our Moment, so I finally gave it a proper test. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Frangipani with Freesia, which is where the fragrance really shines. Right away I get mostly Forest Fruits alongside Red Currant, fresh and very easy to wear. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I’ve been wearing Our Moment on and off for a few weeks now (2013). As it settles, Musk and Patchouli come through and give it real depth. Right away I get mostly Forest Fruits alongside Red Currant, fresh and very easy to wear. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   One Direction knows how to compose, and Our Moment (2013) is proof. Give it a little time and Frangipani with Freesia comes forward — smooth and well done. The drydown leans on Musk plus Patchouli and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

The base rests on Musk and Patchouli — warm, grounded and easy to live with. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   I picked up Our Moment (2013) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The opening is built around Forest Fruits and Red Currant — bright and immediately recognizable. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Frangipani with Freesia, which is where the fragrance really shines. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.
