   Everyone keeps talking about Nightcap, so I finally gave it a proper test. That first spray gives a lovely Ginger/Cardamom impression that dries down smoothly. Right away I get mostly Ginger alongside Cardamom, fresh and very easy to wear. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I’ve been wearing Nightcap on and off for a few weeks now (2024). The first minutes are all about Ginger with a hint of Cardamom — it grabs attention without being pushy. The opening is built around Ginger and Cardamom — bright and immediately recognizable. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. The composition is well made but not for me.

   Orebella knows how to compose, and Nightcap (2024) is proof. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Vanilla with Labdanum, which is where the fragrance really shines. The opening is built around Ginger and Cardamom — bright and immediately recognizable. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   A decant of Nightcap sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The drydown leans on Sandalwood plus Patchouli and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The heart is the best part for me: Vanilla and Labdanum feel carefully balanced. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I picked up Nightcap (2024) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Give it a little time and Vanilla with Labdanum comes forward — smooth and well done. The base rests on Sandalwood and Patchouli — warm, grounded and easy to live with. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I would happily buy a full bottle.
