   Everyone keeps talking about Salted Muse, so I finally gave it a proper test. That first spray gives a lovely Sea Salt/Pink Pepper impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown leans on Cedar plus Sandalwood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Salted Muse. The drydown leans on Cedar plus Sandalwood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Olive Tree with Lavender, which is where the fragrance really shines. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   My first Orebella experience was this one, Salted Muse (2024). Right away I get mostly Sea Salt alongside Pink Pepper, fresh and very easy to wear. Give it a little time and Olive Tree with Lavender comes forward — smooth and well done. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   For a 2024 release, Salted Muse deserves more attention than it gets. The heart is the best part for me: Olive Tree and Lavender feel carefully balanced. The drydown leans on Cedar plus Sandalwood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   A friend passed me a decant of Salted Muse (2024) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The heart is the best part for me: Olive Tree and Lavender feel carefully balanced. The opening is built around Sea Salt and Pink Pepper — bright and immediately recognizable. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.
