   I keep reaching for Enigma more than I expected to. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Rose with Jasmine, which is where the fragrance really shines. Give it a little time and Rose with Jasmine comes forward — smooth and well done. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   Picked up a sample of Enigma after reading the community buzz (2008). As it settles, Patchouli and Sandalwood come through and give it real depth. The base rests on Patchouli and Sandalwood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Enigma. Right away I get mostly Peach alongside Freesia, fresh and very easy to wear. The opening is built around Peach and Freesia — bright and immediately recognizable. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   My first Oriflame experience was this one, Enigma (2008). Right away I get mostly Peach alongside Freesia, fresh and very easy to wear. The drydown leans on Patchouli plus Sandalwood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I would happily buy a full bottle.
