   I have owned Melrose Place for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The first minutes are all about Champagne with a hint of Litchi — it grabs attention without being pushy. Give it a little time and Rose with Peony comes forward — smooth and well done. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   My first OUAI experience was this one, Melrose Place (2018). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Rose with Peony, which is where the fragrance really shines. Right away I get mostly Champagne alongside Litchi, fresh and very easy to wear. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   For a 2018 release, Melrose Place deserves more attention than it gets. That first spray gives a lovely Champagne/Litchi impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown leans on White Musk plus Sandalwood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   Everyone keeps talking about Melrose Place, so I finally gave it a proper test. The drydown leans on White Musk plus Sandalwood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Right away I get mostly Champagne alongside Litchi, fresh and very easy to wear. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.
