   A decant of Annone sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The base rests on Agarwood (Oud) and Cypriol Oil or Nagarmotha — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Right away I get mostly Saffron alongside Mango, fresh and very easy to wear. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   I picked up Annone (2018) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The drydown leans on Agarwood (Oud) plus Cypriol Oil or Nagarmotha and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. That first spray gives a lovely Saffron/Mango impression that dries down smoothly. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   Pantheon Roma knows how to compose, and Annone (2018) is proof. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Rose with Iris, which is where the fragrance really shines. Give it a little time and Rose with Iris comes forward — smooth and well done. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   A couple of wears in, Annone has really grown on me. As it settles, Agarwood (Oud) and Cypriol Oil or Nagarmotha come through and give it real depth. The opening is built around Saffron and Mango — bright and immediately recognizable. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   My first Pantheon Roma experience was this one, Annone (2018). The heart is the best part for me: Rose and Iris feel carefully balanced. Give it a little time and Rose with Iris comes forward — smooth and well done. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

The drydown leans on Agarwood (Oud) plus Cypriol Oil or Nagarmotha and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.
