   I’ve been wearing Equistrius on and off for a few weeks now. The very first sniff is crisp Iris with Violet peeking through, very much my kind of start. The first minutes are all about Iris with a hint of Violet — it grabs attention without being pushy. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   A couple of wears in, Equistrius has really grown on me. As it settles, Suede and Ambrette (Musk Mallow) come through and give it real depth. The opening is built around Iris and Violet — bright and immediately recognizable. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   My first Parfum d’Empire experience was this one, Equistrius. The drydown leans on Suede plus Ambrette (Musk Mallow) and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The opening is built around Iris and Violet — bright and immediately recognizable. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

The heart is the best part for me: Powdery Notes and Chocolate feel carefully balanced. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.
