   I’ve been wearing Cassili on and off for a few weeks now (2019). Give it a little time and Plum with Frangipani comes forward — smooth and well done. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Plum with Frangipani, which is where the fragrance really shines. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   Everyone keeps talking about Cassili, so I finally gave it a proper test. Give it a little time and Plum with Frangipani comes forward — smooth and well done. Right away I get mostly Red Currant alongside Floral Notes, fresh and very easy to wear. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   My first Parfums de Marly experience was this one, Cassili (2019). The very first sniff is crisp Red Currant with Floral Notes peeking through, very much my kind of start. The drydown leans on Vanilla plus Tonka Bean and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I would happily buy a full bottle.

The opening is built around Red Currant and Floral Notes — bright and immediately recognizable. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   I picked up Cassili (2019) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. That first spray gives a lovely Red Currant/Floral Notes impression that dries down smoothly. The opening is built around Red Currant and Floral Notes — bright and immediately recognizable. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

As it settles, Vanilla and Tonka Bean come through and give it real depth. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.
