   Parfums de Marly knows how to compose, and Valaya Exclusif (2025) is proof. The drydown leans on Vanilla plus Ambroxan and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The first minutes are all about Almond with a hint of Mandarin — it grabs attention without being pushy. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   A couple of wears in, Valaya Exclusif has really grown on me. The opening is built around Almond and Mandarin — bright and immediately recognizable. That first spray gives a lovely Almond/Mandarin impression that dries down smoothly. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   Parfums de Marly knows how to compose, and Valaya Exclusif (2025) is proof. Right away I get mostly Almond alongside Mandarin, fresh and very easy to wear. The heart is the best part for me: Powdery Notes and Orange Blossom feel carefully balanced. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

The drydown leans on Vanilla plus Ambroxan and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Powdery Notes with Orange Blossom, which is where the fragrance really shines. The base rests on Vanilla and Ambroxan — warm, grounded and easy to live with. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

The base rests on Vanilla and Ambroxan — warm, grounded and easy to live with. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.
