   My first Paris Hilton experience was this one, Can Can (2007). As it settles, Amber and Musk come through and give it real depth. The first minutes are all about Nectarine with a hint of Black Currant — it grabs attention without being pushy. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

The first minutes are all about Nectarine with a hint of Black Currant — it grabs attention without being pushy. The base rests on Amber and Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

Give it a little time and Wild Orchid with Orange Blossom comes forward — smooth and well done. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   A decant of Can Can sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The opening is built around Nectarine and Black Currant — bright and immediately recognizable. The very first sniff is crisp Nectarine with Black Currant peeking through, very much my kind of start. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   I’ve been wearing Can Can on and off for a few weeks now (2007). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Wild Orchid with Orange Blossom, which is where the fragrance really shines. Give it a little time and Wild Orchid with Orange Blossom comes forward — smooth and well done. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
